Shrimp Beurre Blanc
(Our favorite Scampi recipe)
Number of Servings: 4-6
Preparation Time: Approx. 45 minutes
1 lb raw peeled and deveined large Sail® Brand Shrimp
8 oz. unsalted butter
1 cup dry white wine
1 Tbsp. fresh chopped parsley
1 clove of garlic (minced)
Juice of 1/2 lemon
Fresh chopped basil for garnish
Wash shrimp thoroughly.
Melt butter in frying pan at medium heat until melted and bubbling.
Add shrimp and cook for 1 minute.
Add garlic and cook another minute.
Add white wine and lemon juice.
Cook shrimp thoroughly, about 1-2 minutes.
Sprinkle with parsley, stir and remove shrimp.
Pour lemon/wine/butter over shrimp.
Serve by itself, or over noodles or rice.
Garnish with slivered basil.
