Shrimp Scampi

Ingredients:
1 lb. large fresh shrimp
1 cup butter
1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
1/4 cup olive oil
3/4 tsp dried basil
1 clove garlic minced
3/4 tsp salt
1 tbsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp oregano
Instructions:
Pre-heat oven to (450 F.)
Melt butter in sauce pan, add remaining ingredients. Mix well.
Peal and devein shrimp, leaving tails attached. Split down lengthwise (do not cut through the shrimp). Spread them open to butterfly.
Place in a shallow oven proof pan, tail end up. Pour sauce over all. Bake for five minutes. Place under the broiler to slightly brown no longer than five minutes.
