Serves: 4
Total Time: 15 minutes
Ingredients:
- 1 pound of Golden Harvest 16/20 panko breaded round shrimp
- Peanut oil for frying
- ½ head of iceberg lettuce
- 3 beefsteak tomatoes, sliced about ¼ inch thick
- 4 – 6 inch hoagie rolls
Remoulade:
- ¼ cup Cajun mustard
- 1 ¼ cups mayonnaise
- 2 teaspoons horseradish
- 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon Tabasco
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon sweet paprika
- 2 teaspoons Cajun seasoning
Instructions:
- Mix all the ingredients for the remoulade together and let it sit for 30 minutes
- Heat oil to 350f and fry shrimp for 2 ½ to 3 minutes then set aside
- Slice hoagie rolls almost all the way then smear the remoulade on top and bottom
- Layer shredded lettuce on the bottom of the sandwich, then arrange shrimp on top. Lay 3 tp 4 slices of tomato on the shrimp and press the top of the bread down onto the bottom compressing the sandwich a little.
